Cincinnati Illuminated was inspired by the 2019 Blink Event which is one of the largest light, art and projection mapping events in the nation.
The remarkable thing about Blink is the way artists completely change the way people interact with the city. Painted in light and filled with people from all over the country, together they shine with celebration, laughter and labor shared. With this in mind I tried to capture the light and wonder of Blink and I’m encouraged that this is how Cincinnati could develop and it brings me hope of the future.
